个人简介
Minhyup Song received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2006 and the direct Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2012.
From 2009 to 2012, he was a Research Assistant with the Ultrafast Optics and Optical Fiber Communications Laboratory. He was engaged in research on microwave photonic filter design based on an optical frequency comb source, where his research result was highlighted by Nature Photonics. In 2013, he joined the components and material research laboratory at Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute (ETRI) as a Senior Researcher, where he is currently working on optical frequency comb sources and line-by-line pulse shaping.
Dr. Song is a Member of the Optical Society of America. He was a Reviewer of Journal of Optics Letter, Optics Express, Applied Optics, IEEE Photonic Technology Letters, and Journal of the Optical Society of America B. He was also of the recipient of awards, including the IBC Top 100 Scientists in 2016 and Haedong Young Engineering Researcher Award from IEEE Korea in 2020.
