Milan M. Milosavljevic

Milan M. Milosavljević received the Ph.D. degree from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Belgrade University, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1982. He was appointed Docent, Associate Professor, and Professor at the University of Belgrade in 1990, 1995, and 2001, respectively. He was with at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Electronics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Belgrade University. He was a Visiting Professor with Cornell University, Ithaca, NY from 1987 to 1988 and with University Paris 13, Paris, France, in 1997. He is the author of a number of journal papers, book chapters, and monographs on signal processing, pattern recognition, discrete optimization, and machine learning. His present research interests are in applying neural networks in speech modeling and coding.
