I am currently working with high milk-yielding cows in a hot environment, investigating different aspects of the use of sexed semen, performance and reproductive aspects in cows with prolonged lactations (15 to 34 months), the impact of climatic conditions of growth and mortality of calves, hormonal protocols to treat repeat breeders, epidemiology of non-infectious abortion, the effect of heat stress on milk composition and the impact of brucellosis on performance of dairy cows.
