Michele Cotrufo received the B.S. degree in physics from the University of Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2010, the M.S. degree in physics from the University of Padova, Padua, Italy, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2017. He was a Post-Doctoral Research with the University of Texas in Austin, Austin, TX, USA. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Photonics Initiative, Advanced Science Research Center, The City University of New York (CUNY ASRC), New York, NY, USA. Dr. Cotrufo was a recipient of the two-year Rubicon Fellowship from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in 2018.
