Michela M Johnson

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde in Stuttgart, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. I received my PhD at the University of Edinburgh on 10 December 2019. My thesis was titled "The taxonomy, systematics and ecomorphological diversity of Teleosauroidea (Crocodylomorpha, Thalattosuchia), and the evaluation of the genus ‘Steneosaurus’". I study the morphology, phylogenetic relationships and macroevolutionary trends of Teleosauroidea (a unique group of semi-marine Jurassic crocodylomorphs), and am currently working on their body size distribution and ontogeny. I am originally from Canada.
