Early enough, I fell in love with the mountains and especially with Mount Olympus. Later on, I kept balancing between Geology and Oceanography to understand how water, sediments, dust and carbon move from glaciated summits to the ocean, as the mountains erode, the rocks and sediments chemically weather and humans do their best to alter natural landscapes and biogeochemical cycles. Along this line, I am challenged to seek solutions and support actions towards a sustainable future Earth.
