个人简介
Michael Schönhuber received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering and Dr. from TU Graz, Graz, Austria, in 1987 and 1999, respectively. His doctoral thesis was involved in “About Interaction of Precipitation and Electromagnetic Waves.”
Since 1988, he has been with Joanneum Research, Graz, working for several ESA/ESTEC contracts, research projects of the European Commission, Joanneum Research, internally funded projects, and projects ordered by noninstitutional customers. His expertise focuses on electromagnetic wave propagation and satellite navigation. He is currently the Head of the Space and Communication Technology, Joanneum Research. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 papers or conference presentations.
Dr. Schönhuber is a member of the Austrian National Committee for URSI (Commission F) and Austrian delegate to the ITU-R Study Group 3. Reviewer activities and conference awards round up his professional profile.
