My core research interests have historically focused broadly on understanding the environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology of anthropogenic chemicals, with special emphasis on elucidating fate and effects of persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) chemicals in the environment. However, ever seeking to expand the bounds of scientific research, my teams are increasingly addressing significant problems relevant to origins of life studies.
