Michael Möller

Michael Möller was born in Bebra, Germany, in 1965. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from FH Giessen, Germany, in 1987, and the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB), Bochum, Germany, in 1991 and 1999, respectively. In 1991, he joined AG Halbleiterbauelemente (Prof. Dr. H.-M. Rein) with RUB, where he worked on the design and the measurement of integrated high-speed circuits in bipolar technology with bit rates up to 60 Gb/s. In 1999, he joined Micram Microelectronic GmbH, Bochum, Germany. In 2000, he became the company's CTO and focused on the development of high-speed ASICs, mainly for broadband data and signal transmission and conditioning applications. Since 2005, he has been holding the Chair of electronics and circuits with Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany, where he is working on the exploration of performance limits of integrated high-speed circuits and on the development of circuit design and optimization methods for performance enhancement at high operating speeds.
