Mia Kvale Løvmo

Mia Kvåle Løvmo was born in Namsos, Norway, in 1990. She received the M.Sc. degree in nanotechnology from the Department of Physics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, in 2016. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Institute of Biomedical Physics, Medical University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, with a focus on inverse problems in imaging of trapped particles. She continued working on the topic of ultrasound enhanced drug delivery with nanoparticles to tumors at NTNU for six months. Her current research interests include acoustic trapping, holographic optical tweezers, microfluidics, and optical tomography. Ms. Kvåle Løvmo received a scholarship from the Norwegian Research School in Medical Imaging.
