Jia Meng is professor in bioinformatics. His research is aimed at a system level understanding of gene regulation and the integration of multiple high-throughput data types with advanced computational techniques (Bayesian generative modeling, sparse representation, factorization, nonparametric approaches, etc.). He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and is currently focusing on bioinformatics of RNA modifications and epitranscriptome.
