Memphis Hill

Memphis is currently a post-doc at the University of Alaska Anchorage working with Dr. Brandon Briggs on the genetic mechanisms and applications of metal-microbe interactions. She received her PhD from the Department of Geology and Environmental Science at the University of Pittsburgh with Dr. Daniel Bain. Her research focused on trace metal contaminants in roadside lake sediments and the impacts of land-use change and excess nitrogen on microbial communities in those sediments.
