I am a professor and deputy director of Te Kura Naahi/School of Nursing (research; Together with Professor Merryn Gott). My research and supervision activities focus on understanding how the environment supports the well-being of the whole life cycle by promoting active travel style, mobility, physical activities, connection with nature and social connection. I am particularly interested in ecological and systematic approaches to understanding the complexity of the relationship between environment and health.
