Working at the intersections of social work, health sociology, and critical public health, I study regimes of truth and ignorance especially prominent during social and sanitary crises. I write about: 1) the renewal of social work practice during crises; 2) crisis narratives, theorizations of crises, and conflicts of knowledge/expertise; 3) othering and otherness figures during sociosanitary crises; and 4) social work theories and theoretical productions.
