Melina Paula Bordone

I worked for almost ten years in experimental ophthalmology with several models of retinal injury (light damage, ischemic damage and glaucoma) with functional, biochemical and histological approaches. Now, I am working on new therapeutic strategies to reduce levodopa induced dyskinesia in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease, that includes from gene therapy to classic pharmacology approaches. I have also a background on glia and inflammation related to neurodegenerative diseases.
