My primary translational research interest is in global hemostasis assays including thromboelastography/thromboelastometry and thrombin generation. I study their utility in the diagnosis and management of bleeding disorders as well as their utility in the management of anticoagulation in ECMO and VAD's. My clinical research interests are in the appropriate management of new therapies in hemophilia and bleeding disorders and defining appropriate care for women and girls with bleeding disorders.
