Mattia is currently a Postdoc research fellow at Nanyang Technical University of Singapore, under the supervision of prof. Wonkeun Chang. His main research interests include nonlinear fiber optics, ultrafast solitonic propagation in fibers, and optical communication systems. He is currently involved in the design, fabrication, and testing of specialty optical fibers, including dual-core fibers for all-optical switching applications and gas-filled hollow-core fibers.
