Bio
Matthias Noll currently works at the Institute for Bioanalysis, University of Applied Sciences Coburg. Matthias does research in Environmental Microbiology, Microbial Ecology and Molecular Microbiology. Research interest is linking biodiversity to ecosystem functions in microbial habitats of applied systems. Techniques are amplicon sequencing (bacterial, archaeal 16S rRNA gene, fungal ITS region) and isotopic fingerprinting of elements (EA-IRMS). Their current project is 'Microbial community structure and processes in biogas and sewage treatment plants' and many others.
