I am a Professor for clinical medicine at Furtwangen University and a Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Emergency Physician and Prehospital Emergency Physician at a large community hospital in the Black Forest, Germany. I have undergone paramedic training before I became a physician. My areas of interest are emergency medicine and prehospital care. Especially training in EM, CBRN preparedness and EMS systems design. I also have an academic affiliation with the University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany.
