Bio
Matthew Tenywa Mwanja currently works at the Aquaculture Research and Development Center of the National Fisheries Resources Research Institute (NaFIRRI) of the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) Uganda . Matthew does research in Aquaculture and Fisheries genetics. Their current projects are 'Selective breeding of farmed Nile tilapia and the African catfish', 'Domestcating and breeding of the Nile perch in captivity' and 'Restoration and Conservation of Singida tilapia (Oreochromis esculentus)'.
