Colonel Matthew Martin MD is an active duty officer and trauma surgeon in the US Army He is the Trauma Medical Director and Director of Research at Madigan Army Medical Center COL Martin completed his residency training at MAMC and then a fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the Los Angeles County Hospital He has completed four combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan and served in a variety of roles including Chief of Trauma for a Combat Support Hospital and Commander of a Forward Surgical Team
