My current research interests include: grazing behavior and animal-plant interactions of conventional and heritage cattle biotypes and climate-change effects on native plants. I am also interested in precision ranching/grazing telemetric tool development for real-time tracking of animal welfare. Likewise I am investigating sustainable intensification metrics for monitoring effects, tradeoffs, and benefits of aspirational and conventional production practices.
