Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers received the Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science from Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, in 2008. He is currently a Research Scientist I with CSU. His primary areas of research include cloud–climate interaction and remote sensing of atmospheric properties from space. Apart from his work on the Orbiting Carbon Observatory (OCO), he is involved with the CloudSat mission, which was launched in April 2006. His recent research includes using CloudSat data in concert with observations from the MODIS and AMSR-E instruments aboard the Aqua spacecraft to classify tropical cloud regimes and to compute the regime-averaged properties of each. His work with the OCO mission included sensor analysis and testing of the $\hbox{O}_{2}$ A-band sensor aboard the OCO spacecraft.
