Matilde Mónica Rusticucci is an Argentine professor, researcher and meteorologist. She is a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and a researcher at CONICET. Develops his research tasks in the Department of Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the UBA,1where she also served as director. She was also academic secretary of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.2​

She has participated and participates as author and coordinator of several IPCCreports. He is a member of the World Meteorological Organization,where he participates in several expert panels, including that organization's climate change detection and indexing group. He also collaborated in the Third National Communication on climate change.5​

She has also been a guest professor at numerous universities in Argentina and abroad.1As part of his outreach work, he has participated in several interviews in different media in the country to comment on the effects of climate change6and in various academic outreach activities.
