I am currently interested in three areas: the transport of small reactive molecules (oxygen, nitric oxide, hydrogen peroxide, etc.) across lipid membranes and the roles of partition and diffusion; characterization of new products of protein oxidation with further reactivity; biophysics and biochemistry of hydrogen sulfide and persulfides.
