个人简介
Massimo Moccia was born in Benevento, Italy, in February 1982. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees (summa cum laude) in telecommunications engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Sannio, Benevento, in 2005, 2007, and 2012, respectively.
During his study program, he was a Visiting Student with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, from 2003 to 2004, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, in 2007. In 2008, he attended a postgraduate specialization course in “Technologies for micro and nano electronics” at the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. Since 2012, he has been working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the University of Sannio. His current research activity is focused on the areas of electromagnetic and multiphysics metamaterials, RF devices, and antenna design for satellite applications. In the past, he has also worked on superconductivity experiments, ferroelectric devices, fiber-optics sensors, and nanotechnologies.
Dr. Moccia was awarded the Best Poster prize at the 2019 International Congress on Engineered Material Platforms for Novel Wave Phenomena and the Outstanding Poster Prize at the 2011 Optical Fiber Sensors Conference.
