Massimiliano Germani

Massimiliano Germani was born in Milan, Italy, in 1974. He received the Laurea degree (M.S.) in biomedical engineering from the Università degli Studi di Pavia, Pavia, Italy, in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics and bioengineering in 2008. In 2001, he joined Siemens as a Software Engineer. Since 2002, he has been with ACCELERA, (former Pharmacia, Pfizer, Nerviano Medical Sciences), Nerviano, Italy, as a Research Scientist in the Prediction and Modeling area. He gained experience on the Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic data analysis using both nonparametric and parametric techniques, population approaches, Markov Chain Monte Carlo Methods, and radial base function neural network approach in multifactorial analysis. His current research interests include development, testing, and application of novel modeling techniques, and statistical-mathematical methodologies for the definition and evaluation of preclinical absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADMET) attributes. He is the author or coauthor of more than 40 publications in international journals and conferences.
