Masao Taki

Masao Taki was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1953. He received the B.Eng., M.Eng., and Dr.Eng. degrees in electronic engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, in 1976, 1978, and 1981, respectively. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), Hachioji, Japan, in 1981, where he is currently a Professor Emeritus. He has also been an Executive Researcher with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Tokyo, since 2019. He has been engaged in research on biological effects of electromagnetic fields and exposure assessment. Dr. Taki is a fellow of IEICE and IEEJ.
