Maryam Tousi (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in physics from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree in condensed matter/solid-state physics from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in 2020. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Plasma and Dielectric Lab, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, conducting research on the ultra-fast mechanical switchgear. Her main research interests include high voltage technology, electrical insulation materials and systems, multiphysics modeling, and wide bandgap power electronics packaging.
