Alejandro Martin-Gomez

Alejandro Martin-Gomez received the BSc degree in electronic engineering from Instituto Technologico de Aguascalientes, Mexico, the MSc degree in electronic engineering from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and is currently working toward the PhD degree with the Department of Informatics of the Technical University of Munich. He is currently a research assistant with Johns Hopkins University. His main research interests include the improvement of visual perception for augmented reality and its applications in interventional medicine. He was the Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures and Augmented Reality. He was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award by the National Association of Schools and Faculties of Engineering, Mexico.
