Mark Rapoport, MD, FRCPC is a geriatric neuropsychiatrist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and a full professor of psychiatry in the division of geriatric psychiatry at University of Toronto. He is also a member of the Canadian Driving Research Initiative for Vehicular Safety in the Elderly (CanDRIVE), and an associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Geriatrics. Dr. Rapoport received his medical degree from McMaster University in 1995, and subsequently trained in psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He completed his residency training in 2000, and his fellowship in geriatric neuropsychiatry in 2000. He officially certified in Geriatric Psychiatry with the Royal College in its first year, 2013. He was the scientific co-chair for the 2009 International Psychogeriatric Association Congress in Montreal, Quebec. He is Past-President of the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry (CAGP) since 2006, was the founding chair of the CAGP National Review Course and Online Study Group.
