I have over 16 years of wide-ranging experience in petroleum geomechanics, structural geology and pore pressure prediction. My major areas of expertise are the: - state and origin of stress in sedimentary basins; - mechanics of rock failure in zones of high pore pressure; - origin of overpressure and pore pressure prediction; - Cenozoic tectonics of SE Asia; - tectonics of deltas and deepwater fold-thrust belts; - mud volcanoes and mobile shale features, and; - Lusi mud flow disaster, Indonesia.
