Mark is an Associate Professor in Nutritional Physiology interested in appetite and energy balance control. He links whole body metabolism and psychological processes with human behaviour to understand how eating behaviour is shaped by our physiology under differing conditions of energy balance. He is interested in 1) the relationship between energy expenditure and appetite 2) the role of FFM in appetite control 3) biological and behavioural compensation to weight loss.
