Dr. Mark Ferro is the Canada Research Chair in Youth Mental Health and an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. He is the Director of the Advancing Research in Children’s Health (ARCH) Lab which takes a life-course approach using both clinical and epidemiological studies to understand the intersection between physical and mental health. His program of research has a particular focus on the determinants of mental disorder and physical-mental multimorbidity, health service use among children with complex care needs, and quality of life outcomes in children and young people.
