Marina Vinas Jornet

Since I started my bachelor studies in Biology my purpose is to study the genetic causes of human diseases. My thesis work was focused on the genetic basis of neurodevelopmental disorders in an adult population providing new evidences of the high implication of the CNVs not only in intellectual disability but also in psychiatric disorders. I acquired a broad knowledge in this area and I'm looking for opportunities to deep into the knowledge of the role of genetic variation in human diseases.
