Marie-Louise Michel

I am co-inventor of the recombinant hepatitis B vaccine, GenHevac B commercialized by Sanofi. I did most of my scientific carrier at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. I developed a unique humanized mice animal model to enable testing “therapeutic vaccines” against chronic viral hepatitis B. Today, I am consulting on the field of vaccine development, cancer immunology and infectious diseases for major international research institutions, pharmaceutical companies and Biotechs. I am a Member of the National Academy of Inventors since 2017.
