Mariana Severo da Costa

He holds a degree in Physiotherapy (2019) and a master's degree in Pediatrics and Child Health (2022) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. Has worked on research projects along the lines of mechanisms involved in the effect of stress on development, physical exercise and inflammation (acute lung injury, asthma and neuroinflammation) at the Laboratory of Cell Biophysics and Inflammation. He is currently a Capes Doctoral Fellow in the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Medicine and Child Health at the Laboratory of Physical Activity in Pediatrics, Centro Infant, PUCRS. He works with projects related to functional assessment and rehabilitation in chronic respiratory diseases, with a focus on cystic fibrosis.
