Mia Geisinger, DDS, MS is a Professor and Director of Advanced Education in Periodontology and the Acting Chair of the Department of Periodontology in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry. Dr. Geisinger is a Diplomate in the American Board of Periodontology and currently serves as the President-Elect of the American Academy of Periodontology. She has authored over 75 peer-reviewed publications.
