Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo - SP (2005), PhD in Sciences by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences I of University of São Paulo - SP (2011) and postdoctoral fellow by Institute of Biomedical Sciences I of University of São Paulo - SP (2013) in specific area of Physiology of insulin secretion. She is currently associated professor C of the Department of Physiological Sciences of the Biological Sciences Center of Londrina State University (UEL-PR), coordinator of Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA-UEL), Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Physiological Sciences and of the Lato Sensu Specialization Course "Translational Physiology: from Health to Disease"/ UEL. She works in Physiology area, with emphasis on Endocrine Physiology, investigating the pathophysiological mechanisms that modulate insulin secretion and glycemic control.
