Margherita Antona is currently a Principal Researcher with the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Laboratory, ICS-FORTH. She is also the Deputy Head of the HCI Laboratory and the Ambient Intelligence Program. She has participated in more than 25 European and national research and development projects and has coauthored more than 160 scientific publications. Her research interests include design for all and assistive technologies, adaptive and intelligent interfaces, ambient intelligence and human–robot interaction. She is also the Co-Chair of the International Conference on Universal Access in Human–Computer Interaction (UAHCI). She is also the Co-Editor of the Universal Access in the Information Society (Springer) and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction (Taylor & Francis).
