Bio
Dr. med. Marcus May graduated from Hannover Medical School (MHH) in 2007. Initially thereafter he worked as resident physician in internal medicine. From 2009 to 2014 he received his training in clinical pharmacology as postdoctoral research fellow at the department of Clinical Pharmacology (MHH). His research interest focused on pharmacokinetic alterations in obesity, metabolic mechanisms, sympathetic nervous system and drug-drug interactions. He is a Board Accredited Clinical Pharmacologist since 2014 and experienced in clinical trials and several research methods like microneurography and insulin clamping. From 2015 to 2020 he was senior physician and head of clinical operations at the Clinical Research Center Hannover and since 2020 he is the medical director at Vakzine Project Management GmbH.
