Marcus M. Unger

Marcus M. Unger obtained his MD at the University of Ulm, Germany. He completed neurology residency training at the Department of Neurology at Philipps University Marburg, Germany, a Centre of Excellence of the US National Parkinson Foundation. He has been investigator in several therapeutic and diagnostic trials in Parkinson’s disease. He was senior physician at the Department of Neurology at Saarland University, Germany. His research interests focus on the gastrointestinal tract in Parkinson’s disease. Marcus M. Unger is also a trained and board-certified geriatrician, he has an accreditation to train physicians in geriatrics. At present, he is the head of the Deptartment of Neurology and the Department of Geriatrics at SHG Clinics Sonnenberg, Saarbrücken, Germany.
