Marcus Huntemann

Marcus Huntemann received the Diploma and Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He has been with the Institute of Environmental Physics, University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany, since 2009. He was with the Alfred Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research from 2015 to 2020. He has participated in field work on snow and sea ice in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. His research interests include the modeling of microwave emission from sea ice and retrieval of geophysical parameters from microwave-based satellite sensors.
