I am a forest ecologist, mostly interested in studying the effects of climate on tree growth. My basic tool is dendrochronology. Recently I am focused on dendroanatomy, that is the analysis of time series of xylem anatomical traits, to reach a closer view on tree functioning and on the climate/growth associations.
