Marco Antonio Mendoza

Marco Antonio Mendoza has performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Geneva where he obtained a bachelor degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2001. In 2003 he got a Master degree in Biochemistry at the same university; then moved to Austria as part of the International IMP-Vienna Biocenter PhD program. In 2008 he got a PhD in Molecular Biology; then joined the IGBMC in Strasbourg as postdoctoral fellow. In 2013 he was recruited by CNRS (CR2) as permanent scientist. In 2017 Marco Mendoza has been granted with the ATIGE funding for the setup of his independent team as part of the French National Center of Sequencing Genoscope.
