Marcio Justi Laranja

My research interests include hydrothermal carbonization, magnetic carbon, activated carbon and adsorption studies. My doctoral research consist in the investigation of the sugarcane bagasse as carbon precursor for the synthesis of porous magnetic materials, using hydrothermal carbonization and activation with KOH, and potential application as adsorbent material for pesticide remediation, such as fipronil and its degradation products.
