MARCELO CARVALHO MINHOTO TEIXEIRA FILHO, was born on May 11, 1983, in the city of Ilha Solteira, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Graduated (2006), Master's (2008) and Doctorate (2011) in Agronomy from the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira (FEIS) of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). He held a short internship (2017) as a Visiting Professor at the Plant Nutrition Group, ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
