Marcello Chieppa graduated at the University of Bari in 1999 and moved to the “Mario Negri” Institute in Milan before joining the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda in 2003. In 2009 he joined the National Institute of Gastroenterology in Castellana Grotte in Italy to become Principal Investigator of the laboratory of experimental immunopatology. From April 2022 he is Senior Researcher at the University of Salento in General Pathology MED/04.
