I have been conducting several research projects in the areas of Cariology, Oral Microbiology, Pediatric Dentistry, and Dental Education. I am the director of the Cariology and Preventive Dentistry course offered to our 1DN students. I am also actively engaged in the teaching of preclinical and clinical Cariology and Operative Dentistry for both undergraduate and graduate programs. I have served as President of the IADR Cariology Research group (2015-2016), I am the current chair of the ADEA Cariology section, and I serve as a member of the American Academy of Cariology Board of Directors as Chair of the Research Section Pillar.
