I am the Professor of Materials Science and Surf Engineering and a national and international recognized expert in development of new materials (e.g. hydrogels), Additive Manufacturing (e.g. 3D / 4D printing) and surf engineering (e.g. design, testing and benchmarking surfing equipment such as fins and surfboards).

My research is regularly featured in the media and I am actively driving knowledge exchange and research translation.
